Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the Everest and Labadia varieties. The tubers have light yellow flesh that does not darken after cooking and shallow eyes. The dry matter content is 20.2%, cooking type — BC (from moderately floury to floury).

The potato is resistant to potato wart (pathotype 1) and potato cyst nematode (Ro1 and Ro4). It has moderate resistance to late blight of leaves and tubers, common scab and PVY, however, it is susceptible to powdery scab. The variety shows good resistance to heat and drought.

Plants are characterized by low nitrogen requirements. The variety is moderately sensitive to internal damage, flesh discoloration and little potato disorder, and is also sensitive to metribuzin.
