The variety is the result of a breeding program aimed at combining unique taste qualities and fast preparation. The tubers have an oval shape, golden skin, and yellow-colored flesh, characteristic of the Solanum phureja group.
The potato is characterized by vigorous growth, while the physiological features of the roots make the variety sensitive to soil conditions, in particular to compaction. The variety is intended primarily for baking and frying.
