The variety is a hybrid of Solanum phureja and Solanum tuberosum. The tubers have an oval shape, shallow eyes, and contain 19–20% dry matter. The plant forms purple flowers; the yield of the variety varies from medium to high.
The potato belongs to culinary type BC. The variety shows good resistance to common scab, dry rot (F. coeruleum), skin spot, and mop-top virus. At the same time, the variety is characterized by susceptibility to late blight of tubers, PVY and PLRV viruses, and potato cyst nematode.
