The plant is large and vigorous, with a semi-erect and later semi-spreading growth habit. Foliage is light green. Flowering is abundant; flowers are purple with white tips. Tubers are round or round-oblong, slightly flattened, with smooth brownish skin, white flesh, and shallow eyes.
The variety is resistant to golden potato cyst nematode and common scab. It shows moderate susceptibility to late blight, early blight, powdery scab, viruses X and Y, and is sensitive to blackleg. It possesses strong apical dominance and sensitivity to metribuzin-group herbicides.
A dense planting scheme is recommended to obtain tubers of optimal size. Seed material requires warming before planting to prevent uneven sprouting. Tubers are characterized by a high starch content and good keeping quality.
