Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to culinary type B (mostly firm) and has dark yellow flesh. Tubers form early and are characterized by high yield potential. Due to the tuber nest position at a relatively high depth, increased planting depth and the formation of high-quality ridges are recommended to prevent greening.

The plant is resistant to potato cyst nematodes of species Ro 1 and Ro 4, and also demonstrates general resistance to common diseases. Due to a long dormancy period, the variety is suitable for long-term storage until late spring. The Quarta variety was used in breeding programs to develop the Ditta and Agria varieties.
