The variety was obtained by crossing the Monta and Dina varieties. The plant forms a tall upright bush with a powerful leafy stem and white flowers. Tubers have light-yellow skin and flesh, and are distinguished by a high yield of the fraction larger than 50 mm.
The starch content in the tubers averages 15.3%, vitamin C — 10–14 mg/100 g. The flesh does not darken upon cooling and belongs to culinary type AB. The variety is suitable for preparing salads, casseroles, and as a side dish.
The variety possesses high resistance to potato wart and golden potato nematode, relative resistance to common scab, as well as moderate resistance to late blight and viral diseases. Suitable for organic farming, requires thorough drying of tubers before storage.
