Variety description

The tubers of the variety have a short-oval shape, smooth yellow skin and white flesh. The eyes are shallow, with a slight pinkish tint. The plant belongs to late main-crop varieties with a growing season of 90 to 120 days and is characterized by medium or high yield.
The variety possesses resistance to tuber and leaf late blight, as well as low susceptibility to common scab. At the same time, high susceptibility to virus Y, virus X, potato leafroll virus, potato cyst nematode, and soft rot of tubers is noted.
The variety is a table potato, suitable for boiling, mashing, baking, and chip production. In New Zealand, it is considered a traditional variety for home and commercial use.
