The variety forms large tubers of a deep red color with an oval-elongated shape and yellow flesh. In its characteristics, the variety is comparable to the Desiree type.
The plant possesses increased resistance to dry rot compared to a number of other varieties. The variety is suitable for making chips provided it is processed immediately after harvest, however, its culinary qualities for these purposes decline after long-term storage.
