The variety has an erect or semi-erect bush. Tubers are oval or long-oval in shape, with yellow skin and yellow flesh; eyes are shallow. The variety is characterized by a high proportion of large tubers.
The plant is resistant to potato cyst nematode (RO 1–4) and virus A, but susceptible to late blight of leaves and tubers, viruses Y and X, and common scab. The variety belongs to culinary type B, has a low dry matter content and medium keeping quality with a shortened dormancy period.
During heat treatment, the flesh is prone to darkening, which limits the use of the variety for chip production. In breeding work, the variety is often used as a parent form for creating new potato hybrid lines.
