Variety description

10 August 2026

The Bilberi variety belongs to hulled wheat (spelt). The grain contains 16.8% protein. A characteristic feature is the dark color of the grain, due to a high content of anthocyanins, amounting to about 80 mg/kg.

The variety is used as raw material for the processing industry, in particular for the production of groats and baking. Precise data on maturity group, plant height, as well as resistance to diseases and lodging have not been established.
