The Benedetto variety was obtained as a result of interspecific crossing of the ancient spelt variety Altgold Rotkorn and common wheat Centauro. The plant is characterized as medium-tall and belongs to the mid-late maturity group.
The variety is adapted for organic farming conditions and possesses good grain quality indicators. It contains a large amount of protein and essential amino acids, thanks to which it is in demand in the production of healthy food and bakery products.
