The variety belongs to the “spelt ear” type and is characterized by tall stems. During the ripening period, the ears and stems acquire a distinct reddish and subsequently brownish hue. The plant has low to medium lodging resistance.
The variety shows weak resistance to leaf rust and moderate susceptibility to yellow rust. The winter form is traditionally used in baking and is valued for its specific organoleptic properties.
Currently, the variety has the status of a “conservation variety” and is not intended for intensive industrial production requiring high technological efficiency and yield.
