The variety was bred from the parent pair Apache / Os 15-98. The plant has a medium stem height and an awnless ear. The grain is red, the thousand kernel weight is about 41–43 grams.

The variety possesses good resistance to lodging and Fusarium, as well as high tolerance to powdery mildew and brown rust. Resistance to yellow rust is estimated as medium. Technological grain indices are stable, the ratio of dough tenacity and extensibility P/L is in the range of 0.4–0.5.
