The Brock variety was developed in Great Britain and underwent trials within the framework of programs for studying productivity and disease resistance. Comparative studies of that period noted its unstable yield.
In field trials, the variety showed susceptibility to certain types of rust, which was associated with the presence of virulent races in pathogens against resistance genes Yr7 and Yr14. A detailed morphological description of the plant is absent in open sources.
