The Fatima 2 variety is a winter wheat bred at the Agricultural Research Institute in Martonvásár. It is based on a sister line of the Fundulea 4 variety. In terms of maturity, the variety is classified as mid-early.

The plant possesses good yield potential and is suitable for bread-making purposes. Studies of the variety show that it maintains grain quality indicators under semi-arid climatic conditions, despite potential vulnerability of the protein composition during extreme temperatures in the grain-filling period.
