The plant has a semi-erect to intermediate growth habit and short straw. The ear is white, of medium density, tapering in shape, with short awns in the upper part occupying about a quarter of its length.
The grain is red in color. The variety is distinguished by late or very late heading dates, as well as a pronounced waxy bloom on the vegetative parts of the plant.
