The variety belongs to the lutescens botanical variety. The plants are medium-height (90–96 cm) with an intermediate bush habit and a sturdy hollow stem of medium thickness. The ear is conical in shape, of medium density, and has a slight waxy bloom. The caryopsis is red, elongated, and vitreous.
The variety possesses increased frost and winter hardiness, as well as drought tolerance. It is highly resistant to lodging, shedding, and pre-harvest sprouting in the ear. It has good genetic yield potential, due to the presence of specific protein subunits that influence baking quality.
