Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a spring soft wheat developed with the participation of Estonian and Finnish breeding institutes. The Pm28 gene, which provides high resistance to local populations of powdery mildew, has been identified in the plant genome.

Studies of the varietal composition confirm the presence of two heterogeneous loci. Baking properties are determined by the composition of high-molecular-weight glutenin subunits, which ensure the elasticity and firmness of the dough. The variety is used in breeding as a source of valuable genetic traits.
