The spring soft wheat variety Padureni is currently primarily kept in the collection stock and used as a standard variety for evaluating new breeding lines.
The plant is characterized by good grain quality indicators, including a high protein content, averaging about 14.46%. In the early development phases, the variety actively increases above-ground biomass.
The variety is adapted for cultivation in the conditions of Transylvania and other regions of Romania with similar soil and climatic characteristics.
