The variety has a white ear. In breeding practice, it is known as one of the standards for evaluating ear length. The variety was obtained as a result of a complex crossing of 36 lines.

The plant possesses moderate resistance to powdery mildew due to the presence of genes Pm2 and Pm5 in the genotype. The variety has also been used in scientific research for studying resistance to fungal diseases, including Septoria and rust.
