The variety is short-stemmed, plant height is 83–90 cm. The growing season lasts from 265 to 280 days. Characterized by high frost and winter hardiness, as well as resistance to lodging, stem rust, leaf rust, Septoria, and loose smut.
The ear is awned, cylindrical or slightly fusiform in shape, with increased density. The caryopsis is red, oval-shaped, the thousand kernel weight is 38–45 g. Intended for cultivation in the steppe, forest-steppe, and Polesia zones under rainfed conditions and irrigation.
The grain possesses high baking qualities: protein content is 13.0–14.5%, gluten — 26.3–29.5%, flour strength reaches 340–420 o.a. The variety is recommended for grain use.
