The variety was created as part of the breeding activities of the company Agrigenetics d.o.o. as a continuation of the work of Professor M. Bede. Between 1997 and 1999, the variety was actively studied as part of scientific research on the variability of productivity traits among new wheat genotypes.
On a production scale, the variety occupied a prominent place in Croatian agriculture until the early 2000s, after which it was displaced by newer breeding achievements of the company. The breeding was focused on achieving high yield and stability of plant characteristics.
