The Royssac variety is not a commercial variety for large-scale production. In scientific literature, it is used as a model object when studying cereal resistance to Fusarium head blight and the accumulation of mycotoxins, in particular deoxynivalenol.
The variety is characterized as highly susceptible to the pathogen. Reliable information on its agronomic traits, including yield indicators, plant height, and baking quality, is absent in open sources.
