Triticum aestivum L. Bread wheat · Agricultural · bred by Limagrain UK

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is semi-dwarf due to the presence of the Rht-D1b gene and has a moderate plant height. It belongs to late-maturing varieties and is characterized by moderate lodging resistance.

The variety is predominantly resistant to powdery mildew and moderately resistant to leaf rust. At the same time, it is susceptible to leaf blotch, as well as moderately susceptible to yellow rust, Fusarium head blight, and barley yellow dwarf virus.

In scientific research, the variety is often used as genetic material for trait mapping, in particular for studying the root system and pre-harvest sprouting resistance.
