The variety has a plant height of 80–90 cm and belongs to the lutescens (awnless) variety. The spike is large, cylindrical in shape, reaches a length of 10–12 cm, with a density of about 25 spikelets per 10 cm of rachis. The stem is hollow, of medium thickness, and sturdy.
The plant possesses resistance to shattering and grain sprouting in the ear, as well as soil and atmospheric drought. In dense sowings, a tendency toward lodging is possible. Disease resistance is moderate; resistance scale indicators are: 8 points for root rot, 7 points for rust and powdery mildew, 6 points for septoria, fusarium, and tan spot (Pyrenophora).
The grain is characterized by a high content of protein (16%) and gluten (32%), and the flour strength is 405 a.u. Thousand kernel weight varies from 45 to 50 g. The variety is characterized by traits of both winter and spring crops, including rapid development in autumn and resumption of growth in spring.
