The Silvanus variety was obtained as a result of the activities of breeding and seed-growing organizations in Slovakia. In scientific research devoted to the genetic diversity and protein analysis of winter wheat, this variety was considered as an object for evaluating baking qualities.
In specialized literature, the variety is mentioned as resistant to Fusarium (Fusarium spp.). Detailed data on maturity group, plant height, and yield indicators are absent in open publications.
