The variety is a spring wheat, although in a number of publications it is considered in the context of comparison with facultative wheat varieties. The plant possesses high growth intensity; the average daily shoot growth is up to 4.0 cm and more.
Grain quality indicators include protein content in the range of 12.4–13.7% and gluten of about 25.4%. In scientific literature, the variety often serves as an object of research on genetic polymorphism, including the study of Vrn and Ppd genes, which determine development and sensitivity to photoperiod.
