The winter soft wheat variety Turges was bred by the Danish breeding company Sejet. Its genetic origin is based on the crossing of the varieties KWS Croft and Cougar (breeding number Sj N0291).
In the official European registers for 2022, the variety status is marked as delisted. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and grain quality indicators are not available in open publications.
