The variety is an awnless lutescens type. The plant is medium-height, has a cylindrical ear of medium density with 1–2 cm long teeth at the apex. It is characterized by the presence of a waxy bloom on the ear, flag leaf, and stem. The caryopsis is red, large, and the thousand kernel weight reaches 52 g.
The variety possesses high resistance to lodging, as well as to leaf rust, septoria, powdery mildew, Fusarium head blight, and root rots. It is distinguished by good to excellent baking qualities. Yield under various growing conditions ranges from 8.3 to 10.9 t/ha.
