The variety is a winter form of durum wheat. It possesses a high yield potential, which exceeds 6000 kg/ha, and is intended for use in the production of pasta products.

The plant is distinguished by good lodging resistance, as well as resistance to powdery mildew and brown rust. Research was conducted to evaluate the resistance of this variety to damage by the granary weevil.
