The variety belongs to semi-dwarf plants of mid-maturing ripening period. Under irrigation conditions or with high yields, it shows a tendency to lodging. It has sensitivity to chloride deficiency, which is expressed in leaf necrosis.
The variety possesses sufficient resistance to common root rots, however, it is highly susceptible to Fusarium root rot and moderately susceptible to root-lesion nematodes. It is used in breeding as a quality standard due to its consistently high protein content and excellent culinary properties.
