The variety is early-maturing, has an average stem height of 75–85 cm, and is distinguished by a high tillering capacity. The plant possesses high resistance to lodging and pre-harvest sprouting. The level of resistance to septoria, powdery mildew, brown rust, and yellow rust is assessed as medium. The ear has characteristic black awns.

The grain of the variety possesses high vitreousness, high protein content, and good color indicators, which makes it suitable for the production of pasta and semolina. The variety was adapted for Mediterranean conditions with a short spring period and drought periods, demonstrating stable yield on fertile soils.
