Valriccardo is an auxiliary genetic object appearing in scientific literature as a participant in the breeding process. It was used as one of the crossing components, in particular in combination with the Vic line to obtain the Zenit variety, which subsequently became the basis for the creation of a number of well-known varieties.

For this material, there are no specialized descriptions of morphological traits or detailed data on resistance to diseases and lodging. Its main purpose was the transfer of valuable genetic characteristics, including adaptability to the Mediterranean climate and grain quality indicators, to subsequent generations.
