The Venusia variety is an Italian durum wheat cultivar. A detailed agrotechnical description of the variety is not available in open sources, and the plant is more often mentioned in scientific literature as an object of comparative studies on grain quality, mineral composition, or as a genotype for laboratory transformation.

Studies of the variety's flour and grain quality are characterized by the following indicators: protein content is about 15.6%, ash content is 1.84%, and dry gluten is 8.1%. SDS-sedimentation values are 30 ml, and carotenoid content is at the level of 5.2 ppm.
