The Freda variety belongs to blueberries rather than cranberries and is a Vaccinium corymbosum × Vaccinium angustifolium hybrid. The confusion in naming arose from the joint study of various berries of the Ericaceae family in scientific papers.
Studies characterize this variety as a genotype with a high content of biologically active substances, particularly quinic acid.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
