The variety was identified during breeding work at the Nigula Nature Reserve (Estonia) with the aim of introducing wild Oxycoccus palustris into cultivation. It belongs to the category of historical Estonian clones.
Detailed morphological characteristics, such as plant height, disease resistance, or precise ripening dates, are absent from open scientific publications. Researchers were guided by criteria of berry size and shape when selecting this clone.
