The variety was bred in Estonia as part of long-term breeding work to select valuable clones from the wild. It is intended for garden and commercial cultivation.
The berries are characterized by a less "woody" structure and thinner skin compared to wild-growing species. Studies show the content of biologically active substances, including anthocyanins, organic acids, fructose, and glucose, however, the quantitative indicators of these compounds may vary in different samples.
