The variety is the result of selecting the most productive clones of wild cranberry, selected in the Žuvintas Biosphere Reserve. The plant is characterized by large lanceolate light green leaves and inflorescences of 3–6 light pink flowers.
The variety is classified as early: flowering begins in early June, berry ripening occurs from mid-August. Average yield is about 2.1 kg/m². The berries are round, dark red in color with white flesh, weighing about 1.2 g.
