The variety is a medium-sized creeping dwarf shrub with round pink-red or dark red berries weighing from 1.1 to 3.3 g. A low content of anthocyanins has been noted in the fruit juice compared to other varieties. The plant is characterized by a good ability to root micro-cuttings.
Berry ripening occurs in the second ten days of September. The variety is valued as a valuable genetic material for breeding and an effective pollinator for other Oxycoccus palustris varieties. Yield in various publications is estimated in the range from 200–300 g/m² to 1.5–2.0 kg/m².
