Grape B17-2 is a promising breeding genotype intended for cultivation in Mediterranean climate conditions. The variety belongs to the extra-early maturity group.

Morphologically, the genotype is characterized by the presence of black berries of elongated shape. Unlike some other experimental samples within the same breeding program, this variety is not seedless.
