The leaves of the variety are medium-sized, three-lobed, with an open U-shaped petiolar sinus. Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical in shape, often winged, and are characterized by high density. Berries are medium, round, dark blue, almost black in color. The apex of the young shoot is open, with white tomentose pubescence and a slight pinkish hue.
The variety has moderate vigor and low yield. It is demanding of heat and prefers sunny, dry sites. There is high susceptibility to powdery mildew and low susceptibility to downy mildew. The wines are characterized by a ruby-red color, low alcohol content, moderate tannins, and high acidity.
