The grape leaf is rounded, small, wrinkled, slightly dissected, three- or five-lobed, with felt-like pubescence on the underside. The petiolar sinus is closed or tightly closed with an elliptical opening. The flower is hermaphroditic. The bunch is of medium or small size, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, very dense. The berry is of medium size, rounded, white in color; there is a mutation, Baroque Rosé, with grayish-pink berries.

The variety possesses resistance to downy mildew and black rot, while being sensitive to drought, susceptible to gray mold, and having low frost resistance. Baroque was used in the breeding of the Liliorila and Totmur varieties. Main modern plantings are concentrated in France in the Tursan region.
