Variety description

The variety with selection index UD. 58-083 belongs to the group of fungal disease-resistant varieties. The plant has good growth vigor and a semi-erect bush habit. The yield of the variety is medium to above average; it is suitable for various training systems due to high bud fertility at the base of the shoot.

The shoot tip is glabrous with a pinkish hue. The leaf is pentagonal in shape with a U-shaped petiolar sinus. The cluster is elongated, cylindrical, with a short wing, compact or medium-compact. The berry is small, with thick skin and juicy pulp with a neutral taste.

The variety is intended for red wine production. The grapes are capable of accumulating sufficient sugar with balanced acidity. The wines exhibit an intense floral-fruity and spicy aromatic profile, as well as high polyphenol content, which allows the raw material to be used for medium and long-aged wines.
