Variety description

The variety is a hybrid obtained from crossing Seibel 7053 and the Solaris variety; its genotype contains genes from several grape species. The plant is characterized by medium to vigorous shoot growth, although shoot growth is not always upright.
The clusters of this variety are large, winged, and loose, which reduces the risk of Botrytis cinerea infection. The berries are medium-sized and dark blue in color. The variety possesses very high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, as well as a low susceptibility to flower shattering and bunch stem necrosis.
Wines from this variety are characterized by an intense color, spicy taste, softness, and a high content of phenols and extracts. Notes of blackcurrant may be present in the aroma and taste.
