The variety is indigenous to the island of Corsica and is found in Sardinia. It is used in winemaking to produce light straw-colored wines, which can be used both as a varietal wine and in blends.
The grape leaf is pentagonal, five-lobed, deeply dissected with dense pubescence on the underside. The cluster is medium-sized, very dense, conical or broad-conical in shape. The berry is white, medium to large, slightly oval, covered with a thick waxy bloom, and has thin skin and juicy pulp.
The flower is hermaphroditic. The variety belongs to the medium or medium-late ripening group and has a very high yield. The plant is susceptible to oidium and gray mold.
