The C17-34 genotype is an experimental table grape form developed within the research programs of the University of Catania. The plant is adapted to the conditions of the Mediterranean climate, particularly to the conditions of Sicily.

The fruits of this genotype are characterized by a black skin color, complete seedlessness, and a medium-elongated berry shape. The form belongs to the early maturity group and was selected by specialists for quality indicators for further breeding trials.
