The variety belongs to the mid-late ripening period with a growing season of approximately 145 days at a sum of active temperatures of 2700–2800°С. Vigorous bushes have large, rounded, five-lobed or three-lobed leaves. The bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical or conical in shape, and vary from medium-dense to loose.

The berries are medium-sized, round, black in color, covered with a thick, waxy bloom, and possess a firm and thick skin. The variety is characterized by good shoot maturation and increased resistance to diseases and berry rot compared to Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine variety is intended for creating varietal wines and blends, to which it imparts aroma and softness. The wines are distinguished by characteristic notes of raspberry, black currant, violet, graphite, and herbaceous hints of green pepper, with medium tannin levels and medium to high acidity.
