The genetic structure of the variety consists of 97% Vitis vinifera species and 3% wild American species Vitis arizonica and Vitis rupestris. The variety belongs to the mid-ripening group; flowering occurs relatively late.

Morphologically, the variety is characterized by small berries and compact bunches. Plant productivity is medium. The main purpose is the production of wine with notes of apple, melon, lychee, pineapple, and floral undertones.
