Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid consisting of 94% Vitis vinifera (including 50% Petite Sirah and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon) and 6% of wild species Vitis arizonica and Vitis rupestris. The plant is characterized by an early ripening period, as well as early bud break and early flowering.

The berries are black and relatively large, the clusters are medium-sized and well-filled. The variety possesses high genetic resistance to Pierce's disease and is suitable for cultivation on trellis systems.

Wines from this variety have a deep ruby color with a violet hue and contain notes of red fruits, raspberry, and cherry. The drinks are characterized by good color and tannin concentration.
