The variety is a product of a series of crosses between INRAE breeding material and the Bronner variety. The ripening period of the grape is in the range between the Chardonnay and Merlot varieties.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to fungal diseases, including the genes Run1, Ren3, Ren9, Rpv1, and Rpv10. For crop protection, it is recommended to carry out at least two preventive fungicide treatments.

Wines produced from this variety are distinguished by intense color, high tannin content, and a complex fruit profile.
